Non Floral Centerpieces

When you think of a traditional wedding centerpiece, your mind probably immediately jumps to a beautiful flower arrangement. We, however, love to think outside the box, and love the idea of non-floral centerpieces. The items you choose to use can help fuse the theme of your wedding into your centerpieces, and will probably help you save some budget! Using items such as feathers, candles, seashells, or succulents will really give your reception a unique and beautiful feel.

Tree Style Centerpieces

Choosing your centerpieces is a wonderful way to use your creativity to really make your reception stand out to your guests.  One way to create a stunning and dramatic effect at your wedding is to use tree style centerpieces at your guest tables. Adding flowers to a Manzanita branch creates a delicate and graceful effect, while hanging tealight candle holders to the branches can create a more rustic feel. Find some inspiration from Mother Nature with some of these gorgeous tree style centerpieces:

SJS Book Launch

Last night was truly magical for us. Being able to finally have the launch party for our book was a dream come true!

We are so happy we were able to share this special occasion with those closest to us, including our many past brides, currents brides and vendors we work with on a daily basis.

Publishing our first book has been seven years in the making. To finally see people purchasing our book and enjoying it really brings joy to our hearts.

We want to send a special thanks to Sanjana Vaswani for Sonal's stunning hair and makeup, DJ Manan Shah for keeping the crowd dancing and Jeannie from Atlas Floral for the gorgeous floral arrangements.

THANK YOU to everyone who came and showed their support, it meant the world to us!

Nirvana NY and Beer 1947

We always like finding new Indian restaurants in the city. It's not always easy to find a place that can cook authentic Indian Cuisine that reminds us of the homeland. Last night we had the pleasure of having an amazing dinner at Nirvana. Located on Lexington Avenue between 39th and 40th this place is literally a little piece of Nirvana.

The staff is beyond attentive, friendly and proffesional, we truly felt like we were at home. The food was a perfect blend of spices that is sure to satisfy any taste buds. Even more exciting they carry Beer 1947 which we have been dying to try (not me, of course, baby, baby). Let's just say we found our new favorite beer!

Whether you are looking for a quick lunch, some take out dinner or some fun cocktails, make sure to check this place out!
