We made it into The Wall Street Journal!

I was so happy when I stated getting all these emails congratulating me on getting our name into the Wall Street Journal! I had totally forgotten being interviewed by them months ago about an article on Indian Weddings. It was such an honor and I was elated that we made it in! Thank you WSJ!

Party Rental Ltd Party

Last night, our staff went to the seasonal Party Rental Ltd Party. It was great to see all the new items. I love to recommend them as they are very professional, timely and knowledgeable. They have wonderful items from all over the world to enhance a bride's event. I was lucky enough to meet the owner, Michael.

Tina and Ajay

We had a wedding this past weekend in Jersey City. Tina and Ajay's wedding was about 11 months in the making.

We started with a sangeet event where Tina had personally selected this blue and white feather theme for the event. Our decorator, Jytoi, made it happen and the lighting really changed the entire ambiance of the room.

On Saturday, we started at about 5am at the Westin. The bride, her bridesmaids and moms all began to get ready. We did about a 2 hour photo shoot with the couple...nice and relaxing... before the wedding.

At about 2pm we started the baraat on a horse and carriage, then we went into a Sikh Ceremony, then 1 hour snack break, then 1 hour Hindu Ceremony, then cocktails, and finally reception. It was a long, long day for everyone! The reception theme was black, white and red. We got this beautiful damask black and white linen and then highlighted the whole room with red flowers and red lighting.

We are blessed with the most beautiful brides.. truly! Thanks to all the vendors-- Lilly, Steve, Jyoti, Scott, Malti, Vj, Kamal and Rajeeve, and Janice for making this wedding so special.

Future Planners

At our wedding in Annapolis, we have these three cuties following us. They wanted to know what a wedding planner was. It was really sweet all the questions they asked. I love these photos of them.. We call them PLANNERS IN TRAINING! Thanks, girls!
