This weekend kicked off the busy month of May for SJS Events!
We were in New Jersey all weekend for the wedding of Dipa and Satya at the
Sheraton Mahwah.
The fun-filled weekend began on Friday with a lively
Sangeet event. Guests were treated to exquisite food from Chand Palace caterers
served on a backdrop of gorgeous décor by Design House, inspired by a colorful Rajastani theme. The bride was
beautifully styled in a gorgeous sari with make-up by Sanjana Vaswani.

Guests were offered a feast of mehendi and performances,
with music coming from the live Josh Band. Raas and Garba continued well into
the night with a large candy bar of delectable treats helping to end the
evening in style!
The next day, the groom’s side danced through the grounds of
the Mahwah for a lively and colorful baraat, with music by DJ Raj
Entertainment.
It was the perfect weather for an outdoor ceremony, as the happy
couple said their vows in front of a beautiful and vibrant Mandap courtesy of
Design House.

Following the ceremony, the couple made a smooth and spectacular
exit from their vidhaii in a private Helicopter – a huge surprise for all their
friends and family, who were then treated to lunch again catered by Chand
Palace.
The evening celebrations began with a fun cocktail hour
which led into an emotional and exciting reception. The ballroom was totally transformed by Design House Decor with a mixture of rectangular and round tables bursting with light florals.

captured the weekend’s key moments and finally, speeches and performances by
family and friends were followed by an exceptional Same-day Edit by Imagique
videos. DJ Raj Entertainment kept the Party going while Chocol8kiss provided a
delicious dessert bar, which included a create-your-own sundae bar and a live
funnel cake station.
