Rescuing Leftover Cuisine

Food is one of the most integral parts of any wedding. But, have you ever thought of what happens to all the left overs?

Robert Lee and Louisa Chen, came up with the idea to create Rescuing Leftover Cuisine. A nonprofit organization that picks up fresh food that would otherwise go to waste from New York City restaurants and events and gets it to people in need. Seven days a week, the organization engages volunteers to pick up and deliver any amount of food, no matter how small. So far, the group has rescued over 100,000 pounds of food and delivered it to homeless shelters and food kitchens.

Want to give back and be a part of this amazing organization? Here is how you can donate any left overs from your big day.
