Lighting for Your Reception

Lighting is a very important aspect to your reception. It creates the mood, ambiance, and can have a great impact for your event. If you decide to do uplighting or have something more detailed and elaborate, you should always have a lighting technician on site. Some vendors may tell you that you can save on your budget by not having one, but if something were to happen and the lighting needs to be adjusted or fixed, the technician is the only person that can address these issues. Other vendors will not take responsibility due to liability issues; also they probably are not familiar with lighting and its components. So when you book your lighting package, makesure it includes an on site technician.
