After months of planning and negotiating we all finally flew down to see the Marriott in Grand Cayman where the Shah Family is planning this 150 guest destination wedding.
Our schedule included: Meeting the decorator, 2 cake tastings, site inspection with the Marriott, food tasting with their amazing Indian chefs, meeting with photographers, 3 videographers, doing room inspections and finally doing a walk through of where the baraat, wedding, reception, mehendi, vidhis and garba would take place.
It was a hugely productive trip and best of all, Jay (my husband), came along to take notes and share his experiences from all the weddings he has attended.
I want to thank Aekta and her family for selecting us as their wedding planners and for such a memorable trip. We all really felt like family and I cannot wait for her wedding in August. 4 months to go!
