Planning Trip in Cancun, Mexico

SJS checking in from the Villa del Palmar Cancun Beach Resort & Spa! We are in sunny Cancun, Mexico with our wonderful couple, Sarayu and Manthan, for our planning trip.

Our planning trip schedule has been packed with tastings, table showings, walkthroughs, and timeline reviews. Thanks to the resort's talented chef, the skilled local indian caterers, and the creative cake artist, we have been treated to some of Mexico's finest delectables. We cannot say enough great things about the property; it is the perfect spot for an intimate and relaxing destination wedding. We want to especially thank Karina and the entire team at Villa del Palmar for their incredible hospitality and warm welcome. We can't wait to be back in January for the wedding!

Miami Site Visit

This week, I was very excited to be back in Miami, my second home, with one of my favorite brides to tour her venue, the Turnberry Isle Miami Resort. Our stay at the Turnberry was wonderful and it is truly a beautiful resort. They have multiple spaces that can accommodate large or small events, which was amazing. It is great to have the flexibility to have all our of events there. The bride, her mother and I kept busy with tours, meetings and tastings: This visit was very, very productive and delicious. We cannot wait to return in Oct for our second planning trip and then in Nov for the wedding. Here are some pictures from my visit of the golf course, the two wonderful pools and the immaculate landscaping. Enjoy!

Planning in Curaçao

As the weather gets colder in NYC we headed to sunny Curaçao this weekend to meet with vendors for a February wedding next year. It's always so nice to get away for the hustle and bussel of the city, and this time of year the weather!

From the moment we landed in Curaçao we felt right at home, everyone is so nice and friendly especially our lovely host at the Hyatt Regency, Anjali. She took cake of us all weekend making sure everything ran smoothly.

The entire staff at the Hyatt went above and beyond every step of the way. The food tasting was amazing, and we were all impressed with how good their indian food was. The hotel is gorgeous from the ballrooms, to the lobby, to the pool and lets not forget the amazing beach!

It was also great to get to know their local vendors from the fun DJ Ian, the world famous Happy Peanuts band and the lovely team over at Bonsai Curaçao who did an amazing job with the decor showing.

We cant wait for this wedding and to get back to the warm weather!
