Indian Invitations On This Side of The Globe

Your wedding invitation is the first way you will set the tone for your big day. It will give your guests a glimpse at what they can expect at your wedding. For Indian weddings invitations are crucial as they are so many details that you need to give guests, from the number or guests, the number of events and the food options! Many of our clients choose to have theirs made in India, but not everyone has the time or budget to make the trip oversees. Here is a list of vendors state-side that we have used and have made some of our best invitations. They are affordable and are aware of the Indian traditions, taste and style.

I just met with a local, Manhattan, Indian Printer. He was so helpful in making us aware of the fact that Indian invitations from India are totally different as the have different ink than in America. In India, they use Vegetable dye and here they use scientifically made inks.

The paper is also processed differently in India so how the ink is held in the paper is also very different.

Plus, add to that, the fact that in India they do not really do raised ink as they do here.

Mike, the director of Xpress Printing House can turn invitations in 10 working days. That is what we need.. fast and accurate. Plus, they do electronic proofs so there is no guesswork! Thanks Mike. www.xpressprintinghouse.com
