Adding a Cocktail hour to
your event schedule before your Wedding Reception gives both guests and bridal
party alike the chance to freshen up and relax following the ceremony, before
the real fun begins. This is also a great opportunity to allow your guests to
interact in an informal setting, with perhaps a signature cocktail being
served. Many people also like to serve a little food, giving their guests a small
snack to keep them going. It is important to remember, however, that guests
will eat a full meal at the Reception, and so the food served prior should
consist mainly of light, fun appetizers.
